Description

This drainage pipe is commonly used for greenhouse construction, agriculture, gardens, and riding arenas. The drainage pipe is equipped with a PP 450 µm sheating, which blocks 90% of soil particles larger than 450 µm.

PP 450 µm sheathing
The sheating of the drainage pipe consists of a PP 450 synthetic sheating made from new and recycled polypropylene fibers. The PP 450 is a fine filter on which rust can easily accumulate, potentially causing clogging. This can be prevented by flushing the drainage pipe annually.

Why casing material?

  • As a filter, to prevent soil particles from entering.
  • Increase of the pipe circumference.
  • Better permeability around the pipe.
  • Protection of the pipe when filling the slot.

The PP fibers are suitable for almost all soil types, except for highly iron-rich soil. The drainage pipe with PP covering has an exceptionally long lifespan.

Lightweight and has a high resistance to ground pressure due to the profiled wall.
