Description

This Bonfix Alu press transition elbow 90° is suitable for water, heating, and cooling systems.

In addition to this transition elbow 90°, the Bonfix Alu-press range includes various items such as:
  • Multi layer pipes.
  • Tools.

Properties

This Bonfix Alu-press pipe is suitable for a maximum constant temperature between -20 °C and 90 °C and a maximum working pressure of 10 bar.

Material

  • Housing: brass.
  • Press sleeve: stainless steel 304.

Assembly

The Bonfix tool must be used for pressing the coupling. The couplings up to 32 mm are equipped with a colored ring and can be pressed using a hand tool. Thanks to the Leak Before Pressure feature, unpressed connections are immediately detected during a pressure test.

The installation is done in just a few steps:
  • Cut the pipe to the correct length with a pipe cutter and deburr the ends to prevent a noisy pipe.
  • Slide the pipe into the press fitting until it is visible in the inspection window.
  • Place the fitting with the pipe in the pressing jaws and start the pressing process.
