Assembly
With a brass compression coupling, you can easily create a strong and reliable connection without needing special tools. All you need is a spanner to tighten the coupling, a pipe cutter to cut the pipe to size, and a deburring tool to smooth the edges. The compression ring in the coupling ensures a leak-free connection.- The installation of a compression fitting in a water pipe follows these steps:
- Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent any damage to the pipe.
- Slide the pipe into the compression fitting until it reaches the stop edge.
- Hand-tighten the compression nut.
- Then tighten the compression fitting with a wrench;
- 12 and 15 mm: one full turn.
- 22 mm: half to three-quarters turn.
- 28 mm or larger: approximately three-quarters turn.
