Being lightweight, the Girair 90° reducing Tee is quick and easy to install. Installing the system will require: a pipe cutter, a deburrer, and cold-weld polymer adhesive.The installation is done in just a few steps:
- Cut the pipe to size using a pipe cutter for plastic pipes.
- Bevel the edge and deburr the ends with a PVC deburrer.
- Mark the insertion depth.
- Clean both ends with a cleaner.
- Apply a thin layer of cold-weld polymer adhesive to the pipe and fitting up to the insertion depth, slide the fitting straight over the pipe (without twisting) and hold it in place for a few seconds.
