Description
This John Guest LLDPE tube is used in fluid systems with cold and intermittent hot water and in compressed air systems.
Installation takes just a few steps.
Pressurise the system to 10 bar for 10 minutes. Then depressurise the system. When the pressure has reached 0 bar, pressurise the system again to 2 bar for 10 minutes. No leaks should occur during the test.
Properties
The flexible John Guest tube has a wide temperature and pressure range. In pneumatic applications, the LLDPE tube has a maximum pressure of 10 bar at 20°C. The white tube cannot be directly exposed to UV light.Installation
To cut this John Guest tube to size and fit it, you will need a pipe cutter and a deburrer.Installation takes just a few steps.
- Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent any damage to the pipe.
- Insert the pipe into the fitting as far as it will go.
- The collet will hold the pipe in place; the O-ring provides the seal.
- Try pulling the pipe in the opposite direction to check that it has been installed correctly. To dismantle the pipe, press the grip ring and pull the pipe out of the fitting.
