Description

  • The cable boxes are made of polypropylene (PP), a thermoplastic polymer, and cable entries of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA).
  • With terminal strip, casting resin and gloves.
  • Conduits can be installed directly through the M25 seals or the seals can be cut with a knife in the designated locations to create an entry hole for cables or tubes.
  • Alternatively, glands can be inserted through the openings instead of the seals and secured from the inside with a lock nut.
  • The cable boxes can be mounted on mounting plates using 3.5 x 9.5 plate screws in openings in the base.
  • T 60 cable box + lid:
    Nominal voltage 500 V, with 4 captive cover screws, dimensions 114 x 114 x 57 mm, internal dimensions 100 x 100 x 48 mm, halogen-free.
  • VBX KL60 terminal strip:
    Terminals and screws made of steel, galvanised and transparently passivated, nominal cross-section 4 mm², nominal voltage 400 V, 5-pole, with connection terminals, connectable cross-section per terminal max. 4x 2.5 mm², 5x 1,5 mm² or 6x 1 mm².
  • Casting resin:
    2-component PUR casting resin, fast curing, perfect hydrolytic resistance, halogen-free, no cracking under electrical or mechanical stress, excellent adhesion to cable materials. Ideal for underground use.
  • Voltage application:
    1 kV immediately after casting
    2 kV wait until cured (approx. 1 hour).
  • Casting resin processing temperature: 0 - 35 °C.
