Description

This Pimtas spring-loaded non-return valve is used in irrigation systems to prevent the pipes from emptying when the irrigation pump is switched off. The advantage of this is that the pipes are already filled when the pump is switched back on and that contaminated water cannot flow back and cause damage.

In addition to this non-return valve, range of non-return valves includes various other items, such as:

Properties

This non-return valve has with a spring; the valve opens when the pump draws in water, and the spring ensures that the valve closes immediately when you switch off the pump, keeping the suction pipe full of water.

Installation

This Pimtas non-return valve is installed immediately behind the pump; the direction of flow is indicated by an arrow. A waterproof connection can be created using a cleaner and PVC adhesive example.
