Description
This RIV ball valve, type 4600 is used to quickly and easily open or close a water pipe. This is useful if a pipe needs to be temporarily shut off, for example during maintenance.
Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent any damage to the pipe.
Slide the pipe into the ball valve until it reaches the stop edge.
Tighten the compression fitting with a spanner.
After installation, the system should be checked for tightness.
Please note: if applicable, take the direction of flow into account, which is indicated by an arrow.
Properties
The ball valve has a red lever; there is no technical difference between a ball valve with a blue or red lever. The blue lever is often used for cold water and the red lever for hot water, but the choice is up to the installer.Installation
