Description
This fully assembled suction hose set is used with centrifugal pumps.
The suction set consists of a spring-loaded brass foot valve, standpipe coupling, 2 galvanized hose clamps and suction hose.
The standpipe coupling (suction-tight quick coupling) allows for easy and quick disassembly and airtight assembly of the suction line. The foot valve ensures that the suction line and pump do not drain after the pump is turned off. This means that the suction line and pump do not need to be filled every time the pump is started.
The foot valve is equipped with a basket that prevents coarse debris from entering and is reinforced with a spiral for extra strength.
