Description
This Teflon (PTFE) tape is used to seal metal threaded connections up to 50 mm (2"). The tape does not tear during processing.
The tape is easy to apply and can be used effectively with plastic, brass, copper, aluminium, galvanised steel or iron.
The gas tape is made of PTFE, so very suitable for glycol pipes.
Properties
The tape is easy to apply, seals well and also acts as a lubricant for threaded connections, preventing the screw connection from seizing up.
The tape is also resistant to water, gases, solvents, acids, alkalis, bases and other reactive media.
Application
Teflon tape is suitable for pipe threaded connections in gas installations: natural gas, butane or propane.
