Properties
This 90° bend is manufactured using injection moulding and offers such properties as good strength, dimensional stability and chemical resistance. The 90° bend is suitable for use at operating temperatures of 0°C to 60°C and the specified working pressure applies at a temperature of 20 °C. NB: the maximum working pressure depends on the operating temperature.Installation
When installing this 90° bend, you will need a saw or pipe cutter, PVC cleaner and PVC adhesive to create a watertight connection.- Cut or saw the pipe at a right angle to size and deburr the ends to prevent any damage to the pipe.
- Mark the insertion depth on the pipe.
- Use a PVC cleaner to clean the section to be glued.
- Apply an even layer of glue to both the outside of the pipe and the inside of the coupling.
- Slide the pipe and coupling together up to the marked insertion depth.
- Hold the connection firmly for a few seconds to prevent any movement.
- After 15 minutes, remove any excess adhesive.
